Privacy Policy

AI4LD ("we," "us") is operated by Dr. Brenda Bannan. This policy explains what information we collect through ai4ld.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect the minimum we need to deliver our products and respond to you, and we do not sell your information to anyone.

Information we collect

• Contact form. If you write to us, we receive your name, email address, and message so we can reply.
• Email list. If you request a free resource, download a guide, or opt in to updates, we collect your email address (and your name, if you give it) and store it with our email provider, Kit, so we can send you what you asked for and occasional related resources or product news. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
• AI Skills-to-Job Map. The free Map runs in your browser and shows your results without an account. We receive only anonymous usage signals (never your name or email) unless you ask for your map by email — in that case we collect your email address, your chosen job profile, and your five dimension scores so we can send it. Optional text suggestions you submit are stored for review and deleted within 30 days. All of this lives in a Google Sheet accessible only to AI4LD.
• Purchases. Checkout is handled by SamCart, our e-commerce provider. We never see or store your payment card details — SamCart processes payment and shares with us your name, email, and what you ordered so we can deliver your product.
• Site preferences. The site stores your light/dark mode choice in your browser. We do not run advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To deliver products you purchase and provide customer support.
• To send free resources you request, your assessment results, and, occasionally, related resources or product announcements. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is always honored.
• To improve our products by looking at assessment responses in aggregate.
• To operate and secure the site, including rate-limiting the companion tools against abuse.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy and only as needed to provide its service to us:

• SamCart — checkout and payment processing.
• Kit (ConvertKit) — email list management and delivery.
• Google — storage of AI Skills-to-Job Map responses (Google Sheets), Apps Script form handling, Google Fonts, and Google Analytics (aggregate, non-advertising site traffic measurement).
• Anthropic (Claude) — the AI platform that generates responses in our AI Design Companions and Agents. Text you enter into a tool is sent to Anthropic to produce that tool's output.
• Hostinger — hosting for ai4ld.com.
• Vercel and Upstash — hosting and abuse/rate-limiting for the companion tools at tools.ai4ld.com.

Our AI-powered products run on the third-party AI platform named above; anything you enter there is also governed by that platform's privacy terms. Please do not enter personal, confidential, or proprietary information into any AI tool — use hypothetical or anonymized examples.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@ai4ld.com and we will take care of it promptly. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message.

Your rights (EEA, UK, and California)

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. We honor these rights for everyone, wherever they are.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Our legal bases for processing are: performing our contract with you (delivering a product you bought and supporting it), your consent (marketing emails and the optional email delivery of your assessment results), and our legitimate interests (running and securing the site, and understanding aggregate product use). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ai4ld.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Because AI4LD operates from the United States, personal information is processed and stored in the U.S. and, through the service providers listed above, potentially in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the service providers' Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

Data retention and security

We keep purchase records as long as needed for accounting and support, email-list entries until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and assessment responses for as long as they are useful for improving our products. Access to stored data is limited to AI4LD. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we use reputable providers and encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout.

Children

Our products are designed for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
